History & Origin
Raquon is a coined name of the nineteen-nineties, formed on the Ra- prefix and the -quon ending that also produced Raquan and Marquon. Like its cousins it has no classical root; the names were made for their strong modern sound. Raquon was one of the rarer of these and appeared mainly in the late nineties.
Raquon was scarce, given to only about twenty boys a year at its peak in the late nineteen-nineties, and it did not last. A boy named Raquon then would be in his late twenties today.
