    Kaisen Jōki (快川紹喜, 1500–1582) was a Japanese Rinzai Zen Buddhist monk who served as the abbot of Erinji temple in Kai Province (present-day Yamanashi Prefecture), one of the principal temples under the patronage of the Takeda clan during the era of daimyō Takeda Shingen. In 1582, following the defeat of the Takeda, forces loyal to Oda Nobunaga besieged Erinji, which sheltered Takeda loyalists; Kaisen reportedly remained seated in meditative composure as the temple was set ablaze around him.
