Hello and welcome to More4kids! We are a Family Portal devoted to parenting and education. As proud parents and business owners, we wanted to do something a little different from most Parenting sites. Here at More4kids we are dedicated to publishing quality information every parent can use. We also want parents, future parents, grandmothers and grandfathers, aunts and uncles to be fully involved with More4kids. Not only will you be able to participate in forums, but also will have the ability to express yourself and respond to any articles written here. In fact, we encourage your participation! We are dedicated to building the best online community of parents and educators on the internet as we learn from each other.
Site Information and Navigation:
You have landed on our main page which is dedicated to general family and parenting information and issues. You will find resources on children’s health, crafts, family travel, and much more. The main categories for this section is on the right hand site. To navigate to other parts of our site click on the links at the top of this page or on the bottom. The main categories at the top of the page are areas of our site that are more detailed about a particular topic. For example, selecting Education will bring up topic on homeschooling, reading, and homework tips. In our Disabilities section you will find information on learning, physcial and emotional disabilties. Our Pregnancy topic area is devoted to family and baby planning as well as other topics of interest during pregnancy. Plus, we just added a Parenting Forum where you are free to discuss any parenting topics you wish. Don’t foget to check out the navagation bar at the bottom of the pages. There you will find links to our family directory, you can learn more about us, and view our legal information.
Posting Seach Tags:
At the end of each article are posting seach tags related to the content of the articles. Selecting one of these tags will search our website for your particular topic. For example, clicking on home schooling will search for all articles containing that keyword. Of course you can always use the search boxes in the upper right hand section of the webpage.
What are those funny icons under "Share and Enjoy"? A new trend is starting to take the internet by storm, and it is called social networking. In keeping with our philosophy of wanting to build a community to share information, we added Social Booking to our site. Social bookmarking sites allow individuals to bookmark and share their favorite websites and pages amongst friends, family, or to post them to the general internet community. If you find one of our articles interesting, simply clicking on one of those icons will allow you to bookmark the article for future reference on the selected social bookmarking site. If you don’t have an account, don’t worry, you can signup when you add your bookmark, and most of them are free.
