The film fails to answer any questions, and only leaves the viewer with much more. I was intrigued when I saw the trailer but I couldn't giving it too much credit leaving room for disappointment. Strongly with a touch of a super hero movie which the hero throws cars away just by pointing his hand towards it, John reminds me of our old hero Superman who landed on planet earth right after his planet Krypton was under jeopardy. Every characteris beyond excellent looking, the main character has trouble fitting in,there is often a hot blonde who is Australian, and the first 30 to 45minutes is filled with a boat load of High School Drama sequences. Douchebag jock who loves the hot chick. John is next in line and to escape his fate he is on the run with his mentor and protector Henri (Timothy Olyphant) only to hide out in Paradise, Ohio. I truly wouldnt mind going to c it once again. I will admit that the movie for the very first 10 minutes got off to a rocky start for me and was concerned. After all in the movie, they have changed the powers, skipped a lot and did not even mention the a small part of the background of number 4. If you want to enjoy the evening then go see this one. Fairly darn good story, and the fights and effects had been impressive - even the sound effects blew me away. As some say it has a set of for a sequel and I am quite interested in seeing a sequel too this movie, but I wonder what it would be called. The story has been carried out multiple times, but what sets this and other people like it is the acting, the action and the visuals. It was really very great, truly enjoyed this film was a bit like twlight. Of course he happens to fall in enjoy although its his turn to die, but whatever, it adds romance. And it was all a test so he could be proved worthy ofgetting with the sexy and intelligent main love interest and defend theuniverse against Klingons. So, we got the primary character John.

I know they could do a lot from the book, i was just waiting to see if there was any 1 scene that was specifically like the book,but i didnt really discover 1 :/ i am not going to blame the movie nevertheless, i was searching on-line, and i learned that there had been many difficulties with the actors not showing up, and the directors changing in the middle of it.

The actors all did a wonderful job of bringing these folks to life and making you care about what happens to them. Hd I Am Number Four. The visual effects were decent and story line was interesting. And I saw a trailer for it, and it showcased all these cool action scenes and Alex Pettyfer's character walking like a tough guy. The movie doesn't even accurately describe number 6 abilities. This isn't as great as Disturbia (whose success is mainly due to Shia LaBeouf), but he does what he can with the script and the action scenes are where he shines and pulls you out of the coma you've fallen in to. Then possibly we can go see "Unknown" as abackup. It has all the essentials--the romance the suspense the hanging ending. But, it was extremely well acted,and I was kept entertained throughout. My buddies and i saw this in IMAX and it was loud, mostly in the end when they just decided to blow up every little thing. Well let me say the initial 1/two was a enjoy story and the last 30 min was action. Darn and I thought there was going to be a ɽoubledance along' on the special functions when it came out on DVD. Hey, I qualify for AARP and see no reason why all age groups woulf not enjoy this movie. I went on a date and my girlfriend and I both really enjoyed it. There is something for almost everybody in this movie. And the incidents happen so fast, that if yu haven't read the book yuare totally lost. The movie fails only when it forgets its target audience.
