I would like to share one of my favorite coupon tips. I hope people are still reading What I like to do is go to google and in the search field type in the name of the company or product I want to buy something from and they type in coupons. For example, I may type in Toysrus coupons and usually I will get a list of websites that have coupons for that store or product. Many of those sites are from the list above.

Finally, there are literally hundreds of coupon sites out there, but these are a few of the best coupons sites that you'll find on the web. So, carefully consider these sites and see how much you can begin saving when you start using promo codes and cutting coupons.

Benefits of Using Online Printable Coupons and Promo Codes

Going with both printable coupons and online promotional discounts definitely can be beneficial to you and your family. Wondering how they can benefit you? Well, here are a few of the great benefits that you can enjoy when you use them. You can find grocery coupons that you can use in your local grocery store, baby coupons, and items you use just about every day. Here are the benefits:

Benefit #1 – Easy to Find Online – First of all, you'll find that they are very easy to find online. There are actually many different sites out there that provide these coupons and other sites provide promotional codes that can be used at online shops as well. Simple do a search online for these sites and they are fairly easy to find.

Benefit #2 – You Won't Have to Wait for the Papers – More than likely you are already cutting out coupons from the weekly papers trying to save some money. Well, why wait for these papers? When you go with coupons that you can easily print online, you'll find that you can get them whenever you want and you won't have to wait for the papers anymore when you need something at the store and you want to save money.

Benefit #3 – Save Your Hard Earned Money – Of course the best benefit of these options is that you'll save your hard earned money. No doubt you want to make sure that you save as much as possible each week and using printable coupons at the store and online promotional codes online will help you save big time.

Where can you Find Them?
Now that you realize how beneficial these coupons and promo codes can be, more than likely you are wondering where you can find them. Well, here's a look at some of the very best places to start looking.

- Online Coupon Sites – One of the best places to find these coupons is at online coupon sites that are offered online. Two of the best sites out there include Coupons.com and Boodle.com. Of course there are others available as well where you can find great coupons for saving money too.

- Product Websites – Product websites also often offer these printable coupons. If you have a specific brand in mind, then check out the official website and see if there are coupons available.

- Promo Code Sites – There are also sites out there that provide special online promotion codes. They keep the newest promotion codes on file for particular stores. Searching by the online store you are shopping at can help you find the promo codes you're looking for.

A Few Warnings to Keep in Mind
Of course there are a variety of warnings that you should keep in mind when looking for printable coupons and promo codes for online stores. Here are some important warnings that you need to be aware of so that you don't become a victim of a scam and lose money instead of saving.

- Don't Go to Websites You Don't Trust – If you don't trust the website, don't go. Only go to any websites that are well known and trustworthy. The last thing you need is to end up losing personal information or getting a virus from a bad site.

- Don't Pay for Coupons – You should never have to pay for coupons. Many times you'll actually see them for sales on online auction sites, but you should never buy them. These are almost always scams that you need to avoid.

- Avoid Making Copies of Coupons – You are not supposed to make copies of the coupons you get online. They are to be printed off and then used. If you make copies of them, usually you'll find that they won't scan right and stores probably won't accept them, so just avoid making any copies.

In these tough economic times we are all looking for ways to save. Getting coupons and promo codes online is one way that can help make ends meet, and for the most part they are there free. Next week we will look and review different coupon sites.

Any parent knows that grocery shopping can get pretty expensive, especially when buying food for an entire family. As a mom of two boys I know from personal experience. Here are some tips that I use that may help lower grocery expenses...

Any parent knows that grocery shopping can get pretty expensive, especially when buying food for an entire family. As a mother of two I know how much groceries can cost each month, especially when buying everything from breakfast to dinner and even snacks. As kids grow bigger so do their appetites. They can all add up to a pretty penny, and can cost a family hundreds of dollars a month to keep everyone in their household satisfied. There are many ways to save money on groceries, but it requires smart shopping and a little dedication.

1. Clipping Coupons

Using coupons to shop is a great way to save money, as long as you are only using the coupons that are beneficial. Most coupons are for new items or name brand products, so you can actually end up paying more by using some coupons. Instead, only use coupons for items that you buy on a regular basis, and compare prices to find out if you would be better off not using the coupon to purchase a different brand. Sort through your Sunday paper and pick out the coupons that will be beneficial, and disregard any coupons for new items or pricey brands.

Also, checkout places where you can print coupons online. This can save some additional time and money. Click Here for one place you can go to print manufacturers coupons online.

2. Buy Store Brands

Buying store brands is one of the best ways to save money, since they are always slightly less expensive than name brand products. They are just as good when it comes to taste and quality, but tend to be less expensive since they don’t have a fancy label on them. Most grocery stores will offer a store brand for a number of different products, with everything from canned goods to cereals, coffee, and even meat. Here in Chattanooga we frequent Publix and Walmart and find the store brands usually as good as the name brand foods.

3. Pick The Cheapest Grocery Store

All grocery stores offer different prices, even on the same products. Shop around to find which store in your area offers the best prices all year, instead of just shopping by sales. Grocery stores that require you bag your own groceries usually offer the best prices, since they are able to save a little money by not having to hire baggers. You can also look for grocery stores that offer discounts to loyal shoppers, which usually requires a free membership and a membership card that is scanned each time you shop.

4. Buy in Bulk

Do you have a Sams Club or Costco in your area? Membership can pay off easily with a large family. Buying in bulk is one of the best ways to save money, especially if you have the room to store excess goods. Everything from paper products to canned goods can last a lifetime, and you can save hundreds of dollars a year by purchasing them in larger quantities. You can even purchase bread, pasta, and other food items in bulk that your family eats on a regular basis, since it will most likely be eaten before it even has a chance to spoil. You can save a great deal of money when buying in bulk because you are paying for less packaging and you won’t have to shop for those items for a very long time.

5. Avoid Peak Shopping Times

You can save a great deal of money by avoiding peak shopping times, since most grocery stores tend to raise their prices when they know everyone will be shopping. Peak shopping times are usually around major holidays, government paycheck mail out days, weekends, and the beginning and middle of the month. Because grocery stores don’t have to try and bring in shoppers, they tend to raise their prices slightly to make additional money. Try shopping in the middle of the week and around the peak shopping times, since you can save quite a bit of money in the long run.

6. Look For Sales

It is important to look through your current sale page for your favorite grocery store, so you can plan your weekly meals around what is currently on sale. It is, however, important to compare the sale prices to the prices you normally see in your local grocery store, since you might not save money even when sales are occurring. Some stores will increase the price of items that are going on sale the following week, so you should pay attention to the prices you normally pay for your groceries. It may be cheaper to purchase brands that aren’t on sale, since they haven’t increased in price.

7. Check the Discount Bin and Deli

Most grocery stores will contain a discount bin somewhere in the store, and it is normally full of leftover items that are no longer being carried in the store. Everything from canned goods to bakery items can be found in the discount bins, and are normally knocked down to an extremely good price. Try stocking up on anything nonperishable from this bin, only as long as you plan on using it in your home. You should also stop by the deli if you are shopping at night, since they too offer discounts on deli food items. They usually try to get rid of the last of the deli meat and salads at the end of the night, so they usually sell them at very cheap prices to make room for the next day’s fresh batch. The prices usually aren’t advertised, so you may have to ask an associate for any details about discounts.

Other quick tips include never, ever go shopping when you or someone in your family is hungry. Also with the price of gas, plan your trips wisely to lessen the distance traveled. If you or a neighbor likes to shop at the same places, you could even consider shopping together.

Even though grocery shopping can cost you a great deal of money, your family has to eat and you are responsible for feeding them. There are many great ways to save money on groceries every month, and you can save hundreds of dollars a year by applying all of the different tips. Even if you are only saving a few pennies on each product, it adds up in the long run and means more change in your pocket. Grocery shopping shouldn’t leave you feeling like you just wasted a bunch of money, and you don’t have to feel that way as long as you are saving money while grocery shopping.

We have to do everything we can to save a little here and there, not only on road trips, but on everyday tips to drop kids off at school, work, or the grocery store. This summer a lot of families will be driving on the roads. With the price of gas and diesel both climbing, it is important to remember that no matter how much you are paying at the pump, there are some ways to save your gas once you've purchased it, which will allow you to spend less overall on gasoline. There are things that a family, and there are things that you can do to your car to make sure that you are able to save on gasoline. Here are a few gas saving tips that may help.

Daily Gas Saving Tips

First of all, we should all know that driving slower helps save money, so try to make it a habit to drive slower then you would normally drive. The slower that you go, the more you save on gas. The general rule is to keep it under 55 or 60 MPH – every 5 miles an hour that you go over that, you are going to be reducing your fuel economy by 5%, and it will only mean a little time added to your trip.

Also, if you can use the cruise control whenever possible, or drive at a steady speed when you cannot use the cruise control, you'll find that you also save on gas money. This is because driving at a steady speed uses gasoline more slowly, while slowing down and speeding up is a way to waste gas.

This also pertains to your accelerations. If you are accelerating very quickly, you are going to be burning more fuel, hands down. Therefore, if you can accelerate more slowly, you will save on gas – and the wear and tear will be less on your car as well.

If you drive a manual transmission, shift into the next gear as soon as you can, which will cut back on the amount of fuel that you use. Just be careful not to switch too soon, because this will damage your car.

You shouldn't idle, either, whenever you can avoid it. Leaving the car running might seem like a good idea, and it might be quicker for you, but turn the car off when you aren't using it to save on gasoline. This will be better for your car overall, and will save you lots of money on gas, too.

Of course, the best thing that you can do as a driver is not to drive. If you can carpool to work or school, or ride your bike to the store, or even walk, you'll save money on gas simply by not using it. In many places, people only use their cars when they absolutely have to. If you have neighbors or friends who are going the same place as you are, see if carpooling is a good option. Otherwise, check out the public transportation in your area, or decide where you can easily walk or ride your bike. On a trip check out the public transportation system ahead of time, and make it a fun experience. For example, taking a cable car ride in San Francisco can be an experience of a lifetime for a child.

Things To Do To Your Car

It is important for drivers and riders to follow certain responsibilities in order to save gas – but there are some great tips that you can follow for your car, too, so that you can ultimately save as much as possible on gas.

First of all, if there is anything on your car that doesn’t need to be there, take it off. Things like roof racks, ski racks, and even flags that flutter in the wind all create drag while you are driving, and will burn more fuel more quickly. Get your car as streamlined as possible, and remember that you can take off your roof racks unless you are using them. This will save greatly on gas.

You don't need your snow tires or chains in warm weather, so take them off. The size of your wheels and tires are going to effect the way that your car burns fuel, so try to get smaller tires. Just be careful so that they are safe for your car and safe for you.

If you have heavy things in your trunk or the backseat of your car, take them out. Even a box of books can cost you an extra few dollars per trip, and when gas costs so much already , each dollar that you save is going to be worth it. So clean out your car and make sure you aren't paying for anything extra to be dragged along with you.

Last, be absolutely sure that you keep up on your car's maintenance. Be sure that you have taken your car in regularly and have the entire thing tuned up. You'd be surprised at how much money this can save you when it comes to fuel economy.

By following a few simple tips, you can be sure that both you and your car are ready to save as much as possible on gas money – now and in the future.

Lastly, consider a gas rebate card and earn a little extra money off of every purchase. One thing to keep in mind with these cards is to only use them for purchases you will get a rebate from and to make sure you pay them off right away or they will lose their value. Of course the credit card companies are hoping you will keep a balance on the card, but make sure you don't. Every little bit helps.
