This information on friendship is very helpful as a teacher as well as a parent. Sometimes as adults we forget that "tools" for getting along with others and nurturing relationships must often be taught from a very young age. Often it becomes the task of the school to instruct children on the art of getting along with others due to the change in family structure at times. When both parents work it is not always possible to enable your child to share time with others outside of the nuclear family. This article clearly presents some practical ideas on how to get started so that your child will not suffer the pangs of loneliness in an isolated environment.
Experiences in childhood friendship allow an individual to be happy , share, develop compassion, and prepare for healthier adult relationships.

This is a really great post. A while back I shared a story on our blog called How we can teach kids to make new friends

It was a teaching and learning experience for me as a parent. I hope you enjoy it. Peace and blessings.
