What about CSAs.... community supported agriculture. If we invest our money in warehouse stores we are sending a message to our local farmers that fresh food isn't important. Buying seasonal food can be less expensive than buying whatever we want whenever we want. Clipping coupons is great and necessary. Store brands are a great price saver but as consumers we should want to know who is making our food. As a society we have to think of food as pay now or pay later. If we put cheap and inexpensive food in our families bodies we will pay later with disease and weight problems.
