I loved your blog. I teach a workshop on cultural diversity to educators so they can learn how to incorporate this information into daily curriculum. I focus on cultural contributions from body piercing to food. Teachers introduce cultural trivia such as the origins of the toothbrush and dental hygiene around the world. Then they celebrate these great contributions that have made our lives here in the United States fuller. Thank you for the reading recommendations. I am always looking for new ideas to introduce.

I loved it. As a state coordinator of Together for Humanity Foundation, I see the effects of racism on kids very often, but I also see them change quickly and open up to other kinds of people.

Very important post.
