I am going through exactly this right now with our son! He will begin preschool in about 3 weeks or so and we have talked excitedly about everything and as excited as he is...I know it is going to be a difficult transition for us both! He has been home with me always and is very much attached to this idea. My nerves are going to be "shot" because of the worry I will feel of letting him go and trusting his care with teachers and most importantly because of his food allergies. He has had one anaphylaxis event a few years back when he ate either melon or sunflower. We avoid both and peanuts and he has an Epipen. He is much better now with all his other food issues and sensitivities (causing Ecezma) thanks to Vidazorb kids chewable probiotics. I will worry and know this is all normal...but I do appreciate your article here. It helps!
