Since i engaged myself in sports my life is worth living because not all of us have tv's, computers and video games to keep ourselves entertained….So if a person like that is not engaged in sports obviously he'll do crime

Great post. I think sports can provide a lot for teens from keeping them active, teaching them how to be a team player, and encouraging them to meet new people.

I am a long time advocate of kids and sports. Sports gives kids another outlet and allows them to have something positive to identify with.

My son was a play-every-sport, join-every-team kinda guy. As an overworked single-parent, I appreciated that he was outdoors, closely supervised, socializing with other kids every day after school instead of sitting at the babysitter's place engrossed in TV. His dedication and team-spiritedness had a hand in shaping him into a pretty great adult, too.
